For libraries and institutions

The European Review of Books is a new magazine of culture and ideas, spanning academia and the wider world, with articles in English and in a writer’s mother tongue. New pieces will appear online each week; book-length print issues appear three times a year. Everything is available to subscribers on our digital platform.

We are a magazine for discovery: a new république des lettres, dedicated to the cultivation of new European voices, to great writing across borders and languages, to a literary and political imagination above and below the nation.

We want to make the magazine available to universities, public libraries, and other institutions. An institutional subscription will grant users unlimited access to the magazine and to our ever-expanding Library.

That Library will be a valuable resource for scholars, students and researchers alike. The ERB is not a peer-reviewed journal, but it foregrounds serious scholarship in essayistic form, with an eye on the now and an eye on the world to come. Pieces in the ERB can enrich course syllabi and serve as models for students. They also offer fruitful research and multiple perspectives for foundations, think tanks and other institutions.

Institutional subscriptions

For universities, libraries, and other institutions

We offer two types of institutional subscription: Digital Only, and Print + Digital. The Digital Only subscription includes institution-wide IP-access to the ERB’s complete digital Library, including back issues. The Print + Digital subscription includes the same, as well as three print issues yearly.

Rates:
Digital Only: €350 per year (ex. VAT)
Print + Digital: €500 per year (ex. VAT)

As a foundation (stichting) based in the Netherlands, we offer lower rates to smaller public libraries and smaller non-profit organizations. Please contact us for more information.
